Nonexistent street on maps

A discussion on Hacker News about copyright Easter eggs reminded me of a nonexistent street that supposedly runs behind my house in Yokohama, Japan. When I bought the house twenty-five years ago, it appeared on the paper maps I saw then. The street might have existed at some earlier date, but by 1999 it definitely wasn’t there.
Today, I checked five online maps. The nonexistent street (marked with the yellow arrow) still appears on Mapion:

on Google Maps:

and on Apple Maps:

In contrast, Yahoo Maps correctly shows that a path—not a street, really—runs behind some of the houses on my block but not all the way through to the next street:

while Open Street Map shows nothing at all behind the houses, which is also okay:
